20:5 you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, 20:5 2 you shall not bow down before them or worship them. For I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishment for their fathers' wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation; 20:5 Thou shalt not adore them, nor serve them: I am the Lord thy God, mighty, jealous, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me:
20:6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments. 20:6 but bestowing mercy down to the thousandth generation, on the children of those who love me and keep my commandments. 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands to them that love me, and keep my commandments.

No work may be done then either by you, or your son or daughter, or your male or female slave, or your beast, or by the alien who lives with you. 20:10 But on the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: thou shalt do no work on it, thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy beast, nor the stranger that is within thy gates.
20:11 for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it. 20:11 In six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the LORD has blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. 20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all things that are in them, and rested on the seventh day: therefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it.

19:8 the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; 19:8 The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The decree of the LORD is trustworthy, giving wisdom to the simple. 19:8 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.
19:9 the fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever; the ordinances of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether. 19:9 The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart. The command of the LORD is clear, enlightening the eye. 19:9 They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright. O Lord, save the king: and hear us in the day that we shall call upon thee.
19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. 19:10 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The statutes of the LORD are true, all of them just;    
19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward. 19:11 More desirable than gold, than a hoard of purest gold, Sweeter also than honey or drippings from the comb.
